Summary[edit]

Description
English: Stoat Trap These cunning devices are often attached to planks, as seen here, or logs which are then laid across streams and becks to make a convenient bridge for small mammals to cross over the water and remain dry. Problem is that to get to the other side our furry friend has to pass through the cage and negotiate the over-sized mouse trap. The entrances to the cage are sized so that only quite tiny creatures may pass through, thereby avoiding any 'friendly' casualties (grouse etc.)
