English: The Stoa of Attalus is an hellenistic monumental porticoe given by Attalus II of Pergamon (159-138 BC) to the city of Athens, as a gift for the education he had received there. It was rebuilt between 1953 and 1956 and now houses the Ancient Agora Museum in Athens. |
