One of the handsomest andifibst ornamental of all the pepper varieties.The plant grows stout and bushy, producinga large quantity of fine colored rather thickpods, and as it continues to bloom and setfruit almost the entire season, these pods are of a different color. When quite young-they are of a light green, changing to apure white, when almost fully grown theybecome of a bright yellow and when fullyripe of bright scarlet. The pods are uprightlike either the Cluster or Tabasco, and are asequally sharp and pungent as the Tabasco.Not only as an ornament, but for the tablewe recommend this variety highly./ Long Red Cayenne. It is strong and used forpepper sauce; very prolific.*\Tabasco. This variety of pepper isgrown for the market as well as for makingsauce. It is pungent and strong, also veryprolific. It is easily gathered, as the fruitdoes not adhere to the stem and grows al-most erect on the branches, as may be seenin the cut.
