Steam threshing beans on the Centinela Ranch
Photograph of a steam thresher on the Centinela Ranch owned by Daniel Freeman-Inglewood in Inglewood, California. A busy worksite in the bean field. About 5 horse-drawn vehicles work around the thresher. Horses provide power for other activities in the area as well, such as lifting and hauling. About 25 workers are visible. Piles of filled sacks of grain are visible at left.
