Summary[edit]

Description
English: Steam engine, Birmingham University This was an instructional engine in the department of Mechanical Engineering and was in steam for a university open day. Built 1944 by W Sisson of Gloucester and installed second hand in 1950. It was removed about 1993/4 and is presumably preserved somewhere. Claims that it went to Birmingham Museum of Science and Industry have been firmly rejected by that institute. Does anybody know where it is now?
