Description
English: Contemporary bronze sculpture depicting King David playing a harp while seated at his throne. The statue is mounted on a square base with four sculpted lions serving as feet for the base of the throne. The artist, Frank Meisler engraved his name at the base. There are two plaques mounted to opposite sides of the base with the words, “To President Gerald R. Ford from President Ephraim Katzir of Israel, March 1975” in both English and Hebrew. Gift of President Ephraim Katzir of Israel.
