The giant Red Emperor bream gave a bright touch to the Labor Day procession yesterday. It was the appropriate emblem selected by the Fish Board. The procession, one of the biggest seen in Brisbane, was two miles long, and covered every phase of industrial activity. (Information taken from: The Courier-mail, 7 May 1940.). |
