Summary[edit]

Description
English: Start Point. Start Point is a tough spit of schist that sticks out into the channel. It marks the division between the more oceanic water to the west from the "channel" water to the east. There have been shipwrecks here in the past. Years ago pirates were executed here by being chained to a rock at low water and letting the sea do the rest.
