Summary[edit]

Description

A London Transport Standard Stock train on display at the 1990 Morden Depot Open Day after having returned to London from the Isle of Wight.

The driving motor is in Network SouthEast livery which it wore whilst in service on the Isle of Wight.

The trailer car dates from 1923. It has been repainted in a 1930s livery and (behind it) the control trailer car wears a more ornate 1923 style livery with differently coloured passenger doors, cream that wraps around the car ends and lining between the cream and red.

For a while the Northern line was known as the Morden - Edgware line.
