Stamp of the German Democratic Republic; 1960; commemorative stamp of the issue "Handed return paintings to the "Dresdner Gemäldegalerie"; stamp motive with a monocromized depiction of the famous painting "The Lacemaker" by Gabritël Metsu (1629-167).; This painting was created in 1663 in the style of the Dutch Genre painting of the 17th century, and is contemporary loaced in the "Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister" in Dresden (owner: "Staatliche Kunstsammlungen, Dresden").; Other title of this painting is (in German language) "Die Dame mit dem Klöppelkissen".; "Klöppeln" = a method of the lace production which was prevalent in historical time.; A "Klöppelkissen" is serving as working pad for the process of the "Klöppeln".; The depicted woman is wearing a then high-modern fur wear, called "The rabbit".; stamp postmarked
