Jared Goertzen, who is assigned to the 2nd "Stallion" Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st "Ironhorse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, during the ruck march competition of the Stallion’s Kids Spur Ride at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area in Belton, Texas, Aug. 22.
