| Description |
English: Stairway to Heaven. Looking west up Hatton Locks, nicknamed "The Stairway to Heaven" by the boatmen, from the Ugly Bridge. The old chambers of the narrow locks that were replaced when the flight was widened on the 1930s can be seen in use as by-washes to the right of the replacement broad locks. |
