Summary[edit]
| Description | St. Mary's Paper #5 Paper Machine Electrical Service Room. The wall has a fire-resistance rating. In behind is a large set of motor control centres. The control joint is firestopped and so were the through-penetrations in the room at the time of construction (maintenance of that is another issue), but the rating of the wall is ZERO because the structural steel has no fireproofing, which means that if exposed to a fire on either side, the steel can rip open the wall in minutes. |
