Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Katharine's church Merstham, tower - geograph.org.uk - 1473577.jpg |
English: St Katharine's church Merstham: tower Part of the tower walls, and the narrow lancet windows, are believed to be original material from the 13th century, though the buttresses and spire are largely 19th century restorations and the soft Reigate stone, probably originally rendered, has been the subject of frequent maintenance up to the present day. The spire was last re-shingled in the 1980s.
