Description
English: St Anthony's Well, Coxbench The plaque reads: "St Anthony's Well, Coxbench, was erected in 1611 in a cottage garden and moved to its present site in 1979. It was regularly used by monks and the waters were said to have healing properties." This spot is not as peaceful as it appears as its almost underneath a bridge carrying the A38 dual carriageway over the Coxbench Road.
