| Description |
Deutsch: evangelisch-lutherische Pfarrkirche St. Johannes der Täufer in Bad Zwischenahn. Flügelaltar aus Eichenholz aus den Jahren 1520/25, vermutlich aus dem Osnabrücker Kreis. Die Kanzel stammt vom Tonnies Mahler (Schüler von Ludwig Münstermann) aus Leer und wurde 1653 gefertigt. 1662 wurde die Empore eingebaut und 1745 von Dierk Krüger aus Elmendorf bemalt. Fresko "Das Jüngste Gericht" über dem Altar im Chorgewölbe wurde 1512 gefertigt, 1904 vom Kirchenmaler Wilhelm Morisse freigelegt und restauriert. Quelle: http://www.bad-zwischenahn.de/index3.html |
