Summary

[edit]
Description

These boats served as a vivid reminder of New Bedford and the reputation it has earned for itself within the commercial fishing industry.

From an early settlement, to becoming the bustling whaling capital of the world, and today as a driven and innovative post industrial city, New Bedford has gone through tremendous changes throughout its history.

While these ships were left behind, as a remnant of part of the past, theres no doubt that each one helped make New Bedford what it is today.
