Description
Nederlands: Spotprent op de verliezen van de Spanjaarden tijdens de veldtocht van Maurits in 1597. Rechts zit kardinaal Albrecht op een troon onder een baldakijn. Hij weert de Rede af en leent het oor aan een Jezuïet (met brief) die met een Capucijner monnik (met crucifix) aan zijn linkerzijde staat. Links in de rivier een schip met de namen Enschede, Grol, Bredevoort, Lingen, Rheinberg, Oldenzaal etc. voortgetrokken door prins Maurits die te paard zijn leger aanvoert. Middenboven tweeregelig vers: Clachte Alberti etc. Onder de voorstelling een gekalligrafeerd 20-regelig Hollands rederijkersvers waarin de overwinningen van Maurits worden bezongen.
