Deutsch: Folgende Inschrift befindet sich rechts neben dem Hauptportal der Kirche: Ferdinand I. König beider Sizilien hat am 25. November 1818 A.R.S. die Kirche des Hl. Geistes besucht, die Reliquien des Januarius, des Schutzpatrons der Neapolitaner verehrt und die Heiligkeit des Ortes als Beispiel der Frömmigkeit bestätigt.
English: The following inscription is on the right hand side of the main portal of the church: Ferdinand I, King of Sicily, visited the Church of the Holy Spirit on 25 November 1818, venerated the relics of Januarius, patron saint of the Neapolitans and confirmed the sanctity of the place as an example of piety.
