Description
English: Lt. Col. Sean Kuester, commander, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment “Desert Rogues”, formerly of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, now assigned to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, leads his battalion out on to Cottrell Field for the 2nd ABCTs reorganization ceremony held here, Oct. 24. The Rogues are on the field along with the rest of the brigade to formalize in ceremony the transition of two battalions from the Spartan Brigade to two of the other BCTs within the 3rd ID. Along with the Desert Rogues, the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment “Battle Boars”, were re-assigned to the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The ceremony marks one of the final steps taken to inactivate the 2nd ABCT, slated to take place in January.
