English: The lower reach of the Duwamish River is located south of downtown Seattle, and is flanked by industrial corridors as well as the South Park and Georgetown neighborhoods. Educating local residents about proper use of pesticides and other chemicals is important to help control ongoing contamination in the river from stormwater runoff. Visit www.epa.gov/region10/duwamish to learn more about EPA's efforts to clean up and restore the lower Duwamish River. |
