Description
Français : Cette photo a été prise lors d'une mission transdisciplinaire (botanique et ethnobotanique) dans le centre du Sénégal. Ce projet de recherche des Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de la Ville de Genève s'est donné pour objectifs de mieux connaître et protéger les palmiers utiles menacés d'Afrique de l'Ouest (raphias, rotins et doums). Il est essentiel que les jeunes générations africaines s'approprient cette démarche patrimoniale, sociale et conservative des diversités naturelle et culturelle.
