English: Sunflower grown in clay soil with Geohumus to a height of 10'4". 2 ant nests were nearby, big ones and little ones. Here, a big one is evicting a little one. As soon as the flower heads opened up, the ants were no longer interested in the sunflowers until the seeds were ready for birds to eat.
Deutsch: Sonnenblume in Tonerde mit Geohumus gewachsen zu einer Höhe von 3,15m. 2 Ameisenhaufen waren in der Nähe, kleine und große. Hier transportiert eine große Ameise eine kleine Ameise weg. Ameisen krabbelten andauernd auf den Sonnenblumen rum, bis sich die Köpfe der Blumen öffneten. Dann hatten sie kein Interesse mehr, bis die Kerne der Blumenköpfe reif genug waren um von Vögeln gefressen zu werden. Dann brabbelten die Ameisen dort rum wo die Vögel die Kerne weggefressen hatten. |
