| Description |
English: Somerset Coal Canal (filled in) In 1890 we would have been standing at the side of a lock on the Somerset Coal Canal, at that time the canal was still in use but in poor condition, it went into liquidation in 1893 and closed on 11th November 1898 as there was insufficient income from trade to meet expenses.
