Description
English: (top) Capacity factors for solar PV power, (middle) capacity factors for onshore wind power, and (bottom) electricity demand, normalized by the maximum value, in Germany. The hourly data is plotted (first column) for the entire year – the grey line marking the weekly average-, (second column) for a summer week, and (third column) sorted in the duration curve. The heat maps in the fourth column display every hour in a year coloured proportionally to the CF or demand.
