English: So-called portrait of Victor Amadeus II of Savoy (1666-1732) and another prince, but it's probably a depiction of his sons Victor Amadeus, Prince of Piedmont (1699-1715) and Carlo Emanuele III of Sardinia (1701-1773).

Italiano: "Doppio ritratto maschile di principi in età giovanile, in piedi a 3/4 di figura circa. La figura di sinistra porta una marsina azzurra con bottoni e ricami in oro e una camicia chiara. La figura di destra una marsina rossa con bottoni e ricami argento. Tra i due principi vi è un cane pechinese, indicato dal bimbo di destra e accarezzato da quello di sinistra. In alto è posto uno stemma a forma di scudo sormontato da una corona che al di sopra reca un nastro sul quale è scritto: ANIMOSA VIRTUS. Cornice di legno dorato e intagliato con motivi a foglie sugli angoli e a mezzo di ciascun lato" [1]
