English: So-called Portrait of Prince John August of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (1704-1767), but is probably a depiction of his brother Moritz of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (1711-1777).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with a portrait of Prince Moritz in the Museen Thüringen (see image below) and the absence of physical resemblance with Prince John August.
