Description
English: Smart Metering Infrastructure

Smart Meter with Powerline connection via Data Concentrator (DCU), using a mobile network for communicating with the central system
Central System of the smart meter network containing the following components:

  • AMM (Advanced Meter Management) with
    • HES (Head End System) interface adaptation for smart meters
    • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure for controling the smart meters
    • MDM (Meter Data Management) for storing the measured values (MDM)
  • NOC (Network Operation Center) for operating the smart meter network
    • Field Force for performing activities on site
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) with
    • CIS (Customer Information System) for storing customer relatede data
    • WOM (Work Order Management System) for excecuting customer related operations (WOM)
  • CCC (Customer Contact Center) for handling customer requests and arranging access to the customer sites if necessary
  • Billing Center for generating customer bills and invoices
