English: Telegraph House in Skellefteå. Perhaps old mansion Hägglunda.
Svenska: I kärnan av vad som skulle bli Skellefteå stad låg före första stadsplanens upprättande herrgården Hägglund, som kronolänsman och hovkamrer Nils Clausén byggt omkring 1830. Byggnaden låg en bit in på tomten i hörnet av Nygatan/Stationsgatan, norr om den plats där nuvarande Stadshotellet ligger. Strax innan stadskartan upprättades flyttades herrgården, förmodligen till Lejonström och därifrån omkring 1920 antagligen till kvarteret Lärkan (Televerket) där den i så fall står kvar än idag. (Enligt Per Andrés forskning). |
