English: Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. It’s white and when shining low on the horizon, disturbance in the atmosphere separates the different wavelengths and the star appears to twinkle in different colors. Long exposure and camera movement brings out the effect and the colors. Kuusamo, Finland. |
