Summary[edit]

Description
English: The items in the picture describe how ancient Bantu in the great lakes region of Eastern Africa used to construct their settlements which were referred to as home steads. The huts above are at Social Innovation Academy in Mpigi Uganda. However, they do not seem to be local because most of them are constructed using plastic bottles mainly to combat environmental degredation challenges.
