| Description |
English: Silt covered meadows at Upton-upon-Severn This meadow is the site of the Upton Jazz Festival which is held on the last weekend of June. Since then these meadows have flooded twice. One summer flood is unusual, the last was in 1968, two summer floods is almost unheard of. The second flood which reached almost record levels has deposited a considerable amount of silt and left a strong smell. |
