Description
English: Nursery or children's paper with scenes from the poem "John Gilpin", in random arrangement with lines from the poem accompanying each medallion. Highway and tavern scenes. Printed in greens, reds, browns and yellows on glazed cream ground. Being printed with intaglio rollers in oil colors allowed this paper to be wiped clean.
