Summary[edit]

Description

The Shrine of The Book, the section of the Israel National Museum built to house the Dead Sea Scrolls. The round structure in the fountain is actually the roof of the shrine, shaped to resemble the lid of one of the so-called "scroll jars" that held the first manuscript finds from Cave 1.
