Summary[edit]

Description
English: This photo was taken when I was casually exploring out and about around the Dhoby Ghaut area when I was running an errand on that day and it occurred to me how peaceful and quaint this stretch of Dhoby Ghaut area was when I chanced upon it. It was located a few distances away from SMU Yong Pung How School of Law and the underground linkway tunnel going towards Fort Canning Park. This mural art helps to provide a breath of fresh air and it adds a creative spin to the area overall with colourful pastel colours and Peranakan-inspired design patterns and elements used within the art itself. It helps to bring more life and vibrancy to the area overall while also preserving the Peranakan and Nonya culture, atmosphere, and history within this area.
