Description
English: Shieling, Gearraidh Choinnich, Isle of Lewis

Looking towards Beinn Mholach and its adjacent hills to the left and Stacaiseal to the right. The loch is Loch Sgeireach Beag.

The entry in the OS Name Book of 1848-1852 for Gearraidh Choinnich reads, "A cluster of shealings (sic), built of stones and peat sods, inhabited for about six weeks in summer. Gearraidh Choinnich signifies Kenneth's shealings."
