Description
English: Late Roman or Anglo-Saxon pottery: A large sherd of a coarse black shell-tempered ware. The sherd measures 88.5mm x 93.6mm x 7.8mm, weighs 77g, and comes from the wall of a large vessel. It has a friable, black fabric with shelly inclusions between 1 and 3mm in length.
