English: Sheep on Hadrian's Wall National Trail Hadrians Wall National Trail runs 135 km from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend.
http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ . The building is the rear elevation of the Errington Arms. Beyond, the post-Roman Military Road follows the line of Hadrian's Wall Hadrians_Wall. In the middle distance the Vallum can be clearly seen at Down HillNZ0068; this was a series of earthworks parallel to and a little to the south of the Wall itself. |
