New Bedford/Fairhaven Field Exercise May 11, 2011

The field exercise brought together first responders from New Bedford and Fairhaven to deploy oil spill response equipment provided by MassDEP to coastal communities. The exercise tested oil spill protection strategies that would be used during a real spill in the area. The USCG and other State and local agencies participated.
