A biologist recording his survey details of Geum radiatum in the Appalachians

Summary[edit]

Description

English: Spreading avens (Geum radiatum) is the subject of a "blitz," where a large team of biologists descend on its habitat to collect a lot of data in a relatively short period of time. This is being done across the range of this plant to give land managers a good idea of how well its doing and the success of efforts to protect the species.
