Description

The Tower of the Orle of Gold, so named because it was surrounded by a circle in gilded metal, is the higher (44m) of the towers of the walls. It is the main tower of the Keep. His crack which dates from the siege of 1589 has not dented its stability due to the thickness of the wall (5 m at the base).
