Deutsch: Die Millenniumswarte (offiziell Dr.-Erwin-Pröll-Warte bzw. Dr.-Pröll-Millenniumswarte) in der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Semmering.
Der Aussichtsturm befindet sich auf dem Gipfel des 1340 m hohen Hirschenkogels (Markenname: Zauberberg) und direkt an der Landesgrenze zur Steiermark. Die Holzkonstruktion aus Lärchenholz hat eine Gesamthöhe von 30,5 m und die Aussichtsplattform befindet sich auf 25 m Höhe: [1]. Bei der feierlichen Eröffnung am 19. September 1999 wurde dem anwesenden Landeshauptmann Erwin Pröll die Ehrenbürgerschaft der Gemeinde verliehen und die Warte nach ihm benannt (Dr.-Pröll-Millenniumswarte): [2], [3]. An sich hat sich jedoch die Bezeichnung „Millenniumswarte“ durchgesetzt - in Anlehnung, dass der Turm kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende errichtet wurde. Die Finanzierung von rd. 3 Mio. Schilling erfolgte großteils privat. So stellte beispielsweise die Stiftung Fürst Liechtenstein Grund und Holz zur Verfügung: [4].
