Description
Deutsch: Die röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Semmering.
Die Kirche wurde ab 8. September 1894 (Grundsteinlegung) nach Plänen des Architekten Gustav Neumann durch den Baumeister Peter Handler auf Initiative eines Kirchenbauvereins auf einer von Fürst Johann II. von Liechtenstein gestifteten Bauparzelle erbaut und am 8 September 1895 geweiht: [1], [2]. In den Jahren 1907/08 erfolgte, wiederum nach Plänen von Gustav Neumann, die Vollendung der Hauptfassade und der Zubau eines Seitenschiffes mit Empore (lt. Dehio). 1934 fand die Erhebung zu einer Pfarrkirche statt und 1954 wurde sie unter Denkmalschutz gestellt: [3].
