Summary[edit]

Description
English: Plating microbiological samples on selective agar for the research of bacteria and fungi. Agar plates are rich in nutritional elements for the bacterial growth. The selectivity of the plates determines the growth of a single type of micro-organism (Gram-negative, Gram-positive, enterobacteria producing carbapenemases, fungi and anaerobic bacteria).
