Summary[edit]

Description

Morgan was selling cups and coasters with photographs on them. She works together with her Dad. He takes the pictures and she creates the products. They also work together at the local weekly paper.


The Southport Farmer's Market is along the Cape Fear River with a view of our island across the water. This was the first week that Morgan had set up her own stand having worked with another vendor and sharing a stand in the past.


When I asked Morgan if I could take her picture she asked why and I explained about our 100 Strangers project. Later, when I asked her name, she replied, "But if I tell you me name, we won't be strangers."


The first stranger I asked to photograph went into a long tirade against the internet, cell phones, etc. and declined. It has taken me almost a year to get up the nerve to try this again. I was too nervous to properly set up the shot, but was so relieved someone agreed, that I just starting firing away. Hope I do better next time.
