Description
Deutsch: Schematische Übersicht zu den Schlüsselschritten der enantioselektiven selbstamplifizierenden Katalyse. Nach Aktivierung des Präkatalysators wird das Produkt aus dem prochiralen Edukt zunächst nur racemisch oder mit geringer Enantioselektivität gebildet. Der Katalysator interagiert über chirale Selektoreinheiten bevorzugt mit einem der beiden Produktenantiomere. Diese Wechselwirkung zwischen dem Produktenantiomer und dem stereochemisch flexiblen Katalysator induziert eine strukturelle Änderung, die auch das katalytisch aktive Zentrum beeinflusst. Diese Strukturänderung bewirkt, dass das Produkt in den nachfolgenden Katalysezyklen mit höherer Enantioselektivität gebildet wird.
