This is looking north from James Street. On the right you can see a tiny bit of the Smith Tower (still extant 2022), then the Florence Theatre (building still extant 2022, though it's decades since it was last a theater), then the Collins Block (still extant 2022). On the left, the Hotel Seattle and Butler Hotel.

That arch a few blocks in the distance was erected for a Seattle gathering of the (Masonic) Knights Templar in July 1925.
