DescriptionSeattle MAN 2108 on Washington St in 1994, repainted in late 1980s livery.jpg | King County Metro (Seattle) M.A.N. articulated bus 2108 in 1994, laying over on South Washington Street just west of 5th Avenue, waiting to begin an express trip on route 6. Bus 2108 is a model SG310-18-2, built in 1982. By the time of this photo it had been repainted (probably fairly recently) into this newer paint scheme, adopted by Metro Transit in the late 1980s. In the lefthand background is the Harborview Medical Center, built in 1931. (Since this photo was taken, new buildings have replaced the parking lot next to bus 2108, blocking the view of the hospital from this location.) |
