Description
English: View from atop the old King County Courthouse on "Profanity Hill"; the street mainly visible is Alder. Two readily identifiable buildings in this photo are still there: Engine House No. 3 (later a parks building, now Harborview Medical Center security), and Providence Hospital (now part of the Cherry Hill campus of Swedish Hospital. The area at near right is now part of Yesler Terrace.
