A closeup of the head of a seam ripper, a sewing tool for cutting or removing stitches. The blade edge, the longer of the two forked ends, is about 1cm long. The length of the exposed metal end (shaft plus head) is about 3cm, at which it joins with the plastic handle. The red spherical plastic ball at the end of the smaller of the forks is approximately 1.5mm in diameter. Taken with a Sony A100 camera using a Sony 2.8/100 Macro lens. Image has not been edited. |
